History of Rosas de Ouro

Rosas de Ouro was founded in 1971 by one group of  four friends, José Luciano Tómas da Silva, João Roque " Cajé " , José Benedito da Silva " Zelão"  and Eduardo Basílio , in Brasilândia - SP .

The name  Rosas de Ouro came of a bouquet of golden roses, the pope Leão XIII gave the princess Isabel after of LEI ÁUREA  in 1889 . The first parade was in 1973 and your first victory was in 1983 with the theme NOSTALGIA , the composer ZECA DA CASA VERDE .

In 2003 the president Eduardo Basílio died , your daugther Angelina Basílio is a new president  of  Rosas de Ouro ,nowadays  Rosas de Ouro has 7 wins  in special group .
